In my 27-year career at
The Dallas Morning News, I was blessed to have won many
national reporting awards – among them the 1996 Sidney Hillman
Foundation Award for social justice reporting. As the former
long-time editor of DallasNews.com,
Web site of The News, I had the great pleasure of working with
some of the most talented journalists, programmers and multimedia
specialists in the nation. Our team was recognized with more than 20
regional and national interactive journalism awards. I live in Dallas
with my wife and two children.
